Praise God !!!! I actually heard a Minister "draw the line in the sand" !!!!! Posted on 8 Aug 05:35 , 0 comments
Last night I was listening to a teaching where a minister FINALLY drew "a line in the sand" saying they would not allow this "Politically Correct" stuff in their area. We are to speak the truth in love and there are times where ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!! I have been asking the Lord if that was ever going to happen and finally one National Spiritual Leader finally threw the gauntlet down.
There is a time to "turn the other cheek" Matthew 5:39 and a time to call it like it is as Jesus did in Matthew 23:33, Jesus said, "Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?". There is a balance and we all need to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT. God is a God of love, grace and mercy and in that love He corrects us, which is a good thing and a blessing. Just remember it is God who corrects us.
According to Matthew 5:23 we are to go to that person that we have ought against, a problem with them we are to go to them. Many times we disagree with someone and there are times to respectfully disagree, and there is Mark 11:25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. In that we always want the best for someone and that is the love of God however there are some we cannot come into agreement with and some we respectfully disagree with and some we come out and it is flat wrong.
I personally love the Old Testament with all the rich history and promises of God, the difference is the HOLY SPIRIT. I know many Christians who have a legalistic spirit and only read the New Testament and there are folks like me who see the love, grace and mercy of God in the Old and New Testament and we have to listen to the HOLY SPIRIT, the Spirit of Wisdom and Discernment and that needs to be developed, listening to the Lord in HIS WORD and in our beings
