A basic overview of Abram rescuing his Nephew Lot

Kings and their Armies descended on Sodom and Gomorrah and took all the wealth of Sodom and Gomorrah and all the supply of provisions and departed (verse 11)  And they also took Lot, Abram's nephew and his goods away with them (verse 12) Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew (verse13) When Abram heard that his Nephew had been captured  he armed (led forth) the 318 trained servants born in his own house and pursued the enemy ( verse 14)

Verse 15: He divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and attacked and routed them and pursued them...

Verse 16: And he brought back all the good and also brought back his kinsman Lot and his possessions, the women and also and the people....

Abram had a well trained army...just like today

and this was before the law, Abram was called in Scripture a Friend of God, and was under God's grace, and had a well trained army

We shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free
